Seafood & Tofu hotpot, $38.

The chilli scale stated on the menu was 1 (the least chilli hotpot they had) and it still set my mouth on fire!! Next time I’m definitely getting the non-chilli one.

Inside it was calamari, octopus, prawns, mussels, tofu, enoki mushrooms, udon noodles and a shitload of carrots.

At first i thought they were really stingy with the seafood, but once i had a proper dig into the pot , i found lots of small prawns and calamari pieces buried deep inside under the noodles. They also filled it with way too many carrots.

Beef potato noodles, $12.

Soft chewy noodles and sweet beef. I really liked this but i just wished they were more generous with the size of the dish. There were too many onions and not enough noodles, the noodles were already half gone within the first few bites.

Bulgogi Beef.

This was so delicious and really salty so it’s best if you get rice on the side. Lots of onions and spring onions in this but they were definitely not stingy with the amount of beef they put in.

This place offers the usual unlimited sides: Kimchi, beans sprouts, tofu, pickles etc. The place is really packed at night and the staff are a bit slow at refilling your side dishes. Each time we asked them to refill a plate, they would only give us a tiny bit and we would eat it really quickly and required a refill literally every 5 or so minutes.

It’s understandable that they wouldn’t want to overfill your side dishes just in case people didn’t eat it and the food would go to waste, but we literally got them to refill ours more than 10 times and each time they would bring out less and less.. so annoying.
